The Batesville Middle School Golf Team traveled to North Branch on Saturday to participate in the St. Mary’s Invitational. They played well and ended up in third place only 2 strokes behind the winning team.
Addyson Weiler tied for medalist after firing a 39. Jackson Day (44) and Landon Raver (46) finished in the top ten out of an 11 team field.
Rounding out scores for BMS was Henry Koehne with a 49 and Isaac Weber with a 51.
The Bulldogs will be back in action again on Monday at North Branch and Tuesday at Hillcrest.

The St Louis Golf Team participated in the St Mary’s Golf Invitational Saturday morning. Eleven teams battled it out in not-so-ideal conditions at North Branch’s Meadow course. St Louis finished with a 234 which was good enough for 8th place. Scoring for the Cardinals were Ryan Duerstock – 50, Henry Wanstrath – 56, Max Richardson – 66, Sullivan Hill – 68, and David Koch – 62.
Other team’s score’s for the match included Shelbyville – 176, Greensburg – 177, Batesville – 178, Connersville – 187, St Mary’s – 205, Sunman/Dearborn – 206, Madison – 221, Rushville – 235, South Dearborn – 239, St Bartholomew – 239.
St Louis plays on Monday (19th) against Batesville and Tuesday (20th) against South Dearborn both at North Branch Golf Course.
