Bulldogs JV’ers Win Season Opener Against Panthers

On a wet and rainy night, the Batesville JV football team beat Jennings County 26-6 in their first game of the season.

Scoring touchdowns for the Bulldogs were Josh Mobley on a 8 yard run, Will Meer on a 2 yard run, Bryson Bonelli on a 5 yard run, and Brady Hornberger on a 26 yard pass from Bonelli. Jacob Meer scored the only 2 point conversion on a pass from Bonelli.

The defense was led by Nick McConnell, Nate Deputy, and Vonley Hund.  Will Meer and Luke Wilson added interceptions for a Bulldog defense that didn’t allow a score as Jennings County’s TD came on a turnover.
