The Batesville JV football team beat Milan 22-12 on Tuesday night. Bryson Bonelli threw 2 touchdown passes, one to Jacob Meer from 19 yards out, and the other to Elijah Stover for 26 yards. Josh Mobley scored on a 6 yard TD run and he also ran in a 2 point conversion. The Bulldogs also scored a safety after Milan snapped the ball over the punter’s head.
Batesville’s defense was led by Jy’lil Chappell, Cooper Wilhelm, and Mobley. Luke Wilson had a key interception at the goaline that he returned 65 yards to put the Bulldogs in good field position. The JV team is now 2-0 on the season.
