After East Central, the Bulldogs went on to face the Lawrenceburg Tigers, resulting in their first loss of the season. It was a very hard fought game. An early 1st quarter deficit really hurt the Bulldogs. They were down 9-2, but they managed to battle back and take the lead for a brief moment in the 3rd quarter. They were unable to keep the lead for very long. The Tigers outscored the Bulldogs in the 4th quarter, 13-9, for a final score of 42-39.
Batesville was led in scoring by Wil Freeland – 12, Mason Barker – 10, and Trey Peters – 9. The Bulldogs’ next game is Saturday, December 9th at Plainfield.
