The Batesville boys 9th grade basketball team dropped their first game of the season on Thursday, falling to Jac-Cen-Del, 41-24, on the road.
The Bulldogs showed strong effort in the first quarter, keeping pace early, but JCD’s C-team proved too strong as the game progressed. Batesville trailed 12-5 after the first quarter and couldn’t close the gap despite a solid second-quarter push.
