Bulldogs Fall Short Against Trojans In Middle School Hoops

The 7th Grade Batesville Bulldogs lost to Sunman-Dearborn by a score of 42 to 24.

After coming out strong and going in to half time tied, they just couldn’t hold on in the second half. Some bad passing and turnovers caused a lopsided third quarter which Sunman won 16-3.

The Dogs were led in scoring by Lyle Oesterling who had 11 points, followed by Cole Pride with 7, Bryson Bonelli added 4 and Trent Roell rounded out the scoring with 2.

The 8th Grade Bulldogs lost to Sunman-Dearborn 49-28.

The Dogs were led in scoring by Eli Pierson with 7, followed by Brady Westerfeld with 5. Brady also created several turn overs that led to points late in the game. Hunter Laudick and Ian Powers each had 4. Cole Werner, Ean Loichinger added 3 and Travis Lecher had 2.

The Dogs will be back in action Tuesday night against South Dearborn.
