Bulldogs Dominate Greendale

The Batesville 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team capped off an impressive week with a commanding 50-25 victory over Greendale on Thursday night at home.

The Bulldogs came out firing on all cylinders, holding the Tigers scoreless in the first quarter and building a 12-0 lead. Greendale made a push in the second quarter, trimming the Bulldogs’ lead to 11 points by halftime, but Batesville responded with a dominant 18-6 third-quarter run to put the game out of reach.

Logan Schneider led the Bulldogs in scoring with 18 points, while Henry Candelot and Clayton Kaiser contributed 8 points each. Jonah Heil, Noah Bastin, Drake Hohman, Abram Powner, Caden Hautman, George Jelinek, Nolan Gesell, and Timothy Quillin each added 2 points to round out the balanced attack.

With the win, Batesville improves to an impressive 11-2 on the season. The Bulldogs will look to keep the momentum going when they travel to Columbus North on Tuesday, December 10th.
