Bulldogs Cross Country Traveled to the Mohawk Invitational

The Bulldogs traveled to Waldron Tuesday evening to participate in the Mohawk Invitational.  Ideal weather helped many runners earn personal best times.  Cael Luhman was one of many boys who took advantage of the favorable conditions leading the boys’ team and placing 10th overall in a time of 11:35.  Also earning ribbons for the dogs were Timothy Quillin in 16th place, and Coleman West in 25th.  Additional varsity runners were Wyatt Essick who came in 31st, Miles Lawrence 33rd, Luke Raver 38th, and Lucas Gadberry in 44th.  The boys had a team score of 107 points which was good for 6th place in a field of 14 teams.

The Lady Dogs were also able to post a large number of personal bests, starting with eighth grader Ava Wade, who was the girls meet champion running an incredible time of 10:29.  Other girls earning top 25 ribbons were Elia Wade in 9th place, Ana Shane in 14th, Bailey Feldmann 20th, Sydney Britton 22nd, Audrey Dieckmann 23rd, and just missing the top 25 was Aubrey Weberding in 26th.  Despite the strong finish by the varsity team, the girls placed 2nd with a score of 64 points, behind Greensburg who finished with a team score of 49.
