Bulldogs And Cardinals Golfers Participate At Shelbyville

The Batesville Middle School Golf Team headed to Shelbyville for a four-way meet at Blue Bear Golf Club Monday evening. Batesville finished third with a team score of 204 behind Shelbyville who shot 178 and Madison who shot 192. St. Louis rounded out the scoring with a 225.

Batesville was led by Jackson Day with a 46 and Isaac Weber with a 49. Other Bulldog golfers were Addyson Weiler, Landon Raver, and Henry Koehne.

The Bulldogs head to North Branch again Thursday evening for a match against St. Mary’s. Match time is 4:00.

The St Louis Golf team traveled to Blue Bear Golf Course in Shelbyville for a 4-way match against Batesville, Madison, and the host, Shelbyville.

Luckily the rains held off for a quite pleasant evening and a couple of fantastic shots from our Cardinal players. Final scores for the event where Shelbyville – 178, Madison – 192, Batesville – 204, St Louis – 225.

Individual scores were Max Richardson – 53, Ryan Duerstock – 54, Henry Wanstrath – 59, Caleb Mohr – 59, Augie Hillenbrand – 60, and Sam Richardson – 64.   

BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Sam Richardson for getting a HOLE-IN-ONE!  Sam aced the par 3 11th hole at Blue Bear Golf Course in Shelbyville from 120 yards.

Secondly, congratulations to Henry Wanstrath for holing out on the 10th from 80 yards!
