Bulldog JVs Double Up Lions

Batesville doubled up Rushville 16-8 in JV baseball on Thursday.

The Bulldogs’ Michael Linville finished a triple shy of hitting for the cycle. He had three hits, including a home run, and four batted in.

Batesville scored five runs on three hits in the top of the fourth inning to take the lead. The big blow in that frame was a two-run single by Edwin Hernandez.

Jack Huber earned the win for the Bulldogs. He surrendered 10 hits and seven runs (three earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking none.

The Batesville JVs’ next game will be home on Friday against Madison.
