(Bright, IN) – One of the founding members of Bright Fire & Rescue has passed away.
Julius Huffman helped establish the fire department in 1948 and served for more than 60 years.
He was a familiar face around Bright and was often seen in uniform in his role as a Dearborn County Sheriff’s special deputy.
Julius Huffman was 93.
