Briar Niko Scudder was born stillborn and went to be with Jesus on July 16, 2021 at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky. Briar was the fifth son born to the loving parents of, Cory Allan Scudder and Tabetha Lynn Jedding of East Enterprise, Indiana.
Briar will be deeply missed also by his big brothers, Brantley Allan Bralen Todd, Brogan Michael and Bryce Gerald Scudder; his paternal-grandfather and paternal-grandmother, Gerald R. Scudder of Vevay, IN and Rebecca Johnson of Vevay, IN; his maternal-grandparents, Virginia L. and David T. Smith of Patriot, IN and David C. and Lisa K. Jedding of Aurora, IN; his maternal-great-grandparents, Virginia Rose Rineair-Faulkner of Moores Hill, IN, Barbara Jedding of Greendale, IN and Wanda and Donald Scranton of Pleasant, IN; his paternal-great-grandfather, William Johnson of Vevay, IN; his paternal aunts and uncles, Jessarah Johnson and her companion, Jacob Courter of Vevay, IN, Cody R. and Colleen Scudder of Vevay, IN and Anthony Huffner and his companion, Heather Couch of Rising Sun, IN; his maternal aunt and uncle, Joseph Michael and Kassondra Jedding of Norfolk, VA and his several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal-great-grandparents, Raymond L. and Connie Mae (Perry) Scudder and Marquita Johnson and his maternal-great-grandparents, Daniel Faulkner and Richard B. Jedding.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
