BATESVILLE, IN — The Batesville Community Education Foundation is sponsoring the Art on Main mural project in downtown Batesville again this year.

This program features artwork from students from the four Batesville Community School Corporation buildings on a rotating basis.

The latest mural on display on the side of the Simons Company building at the corner of Main and George streets was created by four Batesville Primary School 2nd graders with the help of Rowland Graphics, which installed the artwork.

The students who created the mural and the part of the piece they created are:

Aubrey Kruthaupt (Batesville Primary School building)
Dylan Wessel (friends and baseball)
Dustin Wessel (home and farm)
Wyatt Moorman (community and beyond)

The four 2nd graders received help from other classmates in brainstorming ideas for the piece.
