(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Police Department is out with a warning about social media scams involving rental properties.
Officers say there’s been an increase in these scams, in which someone tries to obtain payments for property they don’t own.
BPD urges you to be cautious about sending money without a rental agreement through a lawful contract.
