A Moores Hill man facing federal charges in Ohio has pleaded guilty.

The attorney for Andrew Boguslawski, 44, said his client agreed to admit guilt to having  illegal explosive devices but had planned to use them for legitimate training purposes.

Boguslawski was stopped for speeding by an Ohio patrolman on I-70 west of Columbus on New Years Day. Authorities allegedly found explosives, firearms, detonators and ammunition after a search of his vehicle. Investigators said he was on his way back to Indiana from Pennsylvania.

He is also a member of the Indiana National Guard.

Boguslawski’s attorney said while his defendant is guilty of having illegal devices, there was no plan to use them on anyone or anything.

The guilty plea will put the Moores Hill man behind bars for maximum of 10 years.
