BMS Golf Drops Two in Columbus

Batesville Middle School golf lost both ends of a dual match at Rocky Ford Par 3 Golf Course against Columbus Central on Tuesday.

BMS Team #1 was defeated 128–162. The Bulldogs were led by Rowan Maple, who fired an impressive 33, and George Jelinek with a 39.

Jarod Zins and Brody Strouse each carded 45s, followed by Luke Raver and Rory Hunt with rounds of 48.

Olliver Strole rounded out the scoring with a 50.

BMS Team #2 also fell short, 156–196.

The Dogs were led by Landon Jansing’s 44. 

Other scores included Cora Koehne with a 50; Everett Moore, Isabella Haakinson, and Sophia Hillenbrand each shooting 51, and Jordan Erhart with a 52.

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Monday at North Branch.
