Batesville’s 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team saw its win streak go to 7 games on Thursday night, defeating the previously unbeaten Greendale 44-35 on the road. The Bulldogs got out on a 6-0 run and led from start to finish in the contest which included a 10-2 second quarter run that provided a spark. Carson Meyer led all scorers with 18 points including 14 points in the second half while Levi Hunt added 15 points. Camden Kaiser totaled five points, Jackson Peetz scored three points and Eli Denni and Gage Lancaster chipped in two points and one point respectively. The Dogs shot 20-of-27 from the free throw line to secure the win. BMS (8-2) is home on Tuesday night against Columbus North.
