Batesville’s eighth-grade boys basketball team picked up a big 39-33 win on the road Monday night against Connersville. The Bulldogs used a 14-4 second quarter run to take the lead and never looked back in the contest. Eli Denni scored 10 points in that frame and finished with a team-high 12 points and Camden Kaiser added 10 points. Levi Hunt and Carson Meyer totaled nine points and eight points respectively. Batesville (6-2) is home Tuesday night against North Decatur.
