The Batesville 7th grade boys basketball team kept the winning streak alive by beating Connersville by a score of 35- 29. It was a physical game for the Bulldogs who found themselves leading at half 13-11. The Bulldogs hit 2, 3 pointers by Isiah Martin in the third quarter to help build a lead and would go on to win the game. Martin led the way for the Bulldogs with 13, Hank Bohman with 11, RJ Schuerman with 5, Lane Higham will 4, and Beckett Joens with 2. Batesville improves to 8-0 and faces North Decatur on Tuesday night at home.
Batesville’s 8th-grade boys basketball team picked up a big 39-33 win on the road Monday night against Connersville. The Bulldogs used a 14-4 second-quarter run to take the lead and never looked back in the contest. Eli Denni scored 10 points in that frame and finished with a team-high 12 points and Camden Kaiser added 10 points. Levi Hunt and Carson Meyer totaled nine points and eight points respectively. Batesville (6-2) is home Tuesday night against North Decatur.
