The Batesville girls varsity tennis team went 1-1 on on Saturday.
Jennings County got past the Bulldogs 3-2.
Batesville continued its strong doubles play.
Ava Walsman and Grace Walter were winners at No. 1, while Liv Maddock and Maddie Haskamp won at No. 2.
Later in the day, the Bulldogs were 4-1 winners over Shawe Memorial.
Walsman and Walter were 6-0, 6-1 winners at No. 1 doubles.
Maddock and Haskamp posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2.
Addie Fledderman won in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, while Ellie Westerfeld won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3.
Grace Gutzwiller turned in a strong performance at No. 1 singles, going three sets before falling 7-6, 6-3, 11-9.
