Bertha C. Fledderman, 82, of Everton, passed away Thursday morning, June 2, 2016 at Heritage House of Connersville, where she had been a resident for the past five months.
She was born July 1, 1933 in St. Leon, IN, one of eight children of William B. and Mary Rose Fischer Wuestefeld.
On June 11, 1955, she was married in St. Leon to Clifford B. Fledderman. Following their marriage, they came to Connersville and they had lived in Everton since 1959. Mr. Fledderman died October 5, 2015.
After many years of service, she retired from the Everton Water Corporation.
She loved to clean and she loved to bake pies.
She was a member of St. Gabriel Church, the bereavement committee and enjoyed helping with the annual Fall Festival.
Survivors include three children: Wayne Fledderman and wife, Jennifer, of Greenwood, IN, Sandra Peters and husband, Randy, of Claremore, OK, and Linda Reese and husband, Jim, of Connersville; a son in law, Larry Lutz of Clarksville, TN: nine grandchildren: Jennifer Lewis, Mike Lutz, Rana Peters, Cassandra Peters, Thomas Peters, Zoe Peters, Sarah Reese, Stacy Reese and Jillian Fledderman; five great grandchilden: Coby Delucio, Hannah Delucio, Morghan Lewis, MaClayne Lewis and Reese Blackburn; two sisters: Rita Berger of Cincinnati and Alice Hughes of New Alsace, IN; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters, Wanda Fledderman and Brenda Lutz, two brothers and three sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Dustin Boehm at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2016 in St. Gabriel Church and burial will be in the Everton Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m.
