Bernard Schoettmer, 79, of Greensburg, IN, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on December 8, 1943, to Bernard Henry and Martha (Miller) Schoettmer.
Bernard was a dedicated worker. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. They were his most prized possession. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Greensburg and a former member of the Moose Lodge.
He married the love of his life, Diana, on October 22, 1966, and she survives.
Bernard will be forever remembered by his wife of 57 years; son, Bernie Anthony (Sonya) Schoettmer and grandchildren: Hailey, Kinsley, and Anthony.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bernard Michael; daughters: Daphne Ann, Linda Sue, Brenda Kay, and Kathy Sue Ann.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greensburg.
