The South Ripley and North Decatur athletic departments announced they are co-sponsoring a benefit meal prior to the Chargers versus Raiders boys basketball game this Saturday (December 4) at South Ripley.

All proceeds from the “free will” offerings for the meal will be donated to the family of Brad Bryant. Brad, who was a beloved member of both school’s faculties during his lifetime, passed away earlier this fall after a battle with cancer. He left behind a wife and three children.

The meal will feature pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw and a desert which will be served in the South Ripley High School cafeteria from 5 to 7 p.m.

Questions should be directed to either Scott Johnson, North Decatur athletic director, at [email protected] or Jeff Gorrell, South Ripley athletic director, at [email protected].

We thank Mr. Johnson and Mr. Gorrell for the benefit information.
