BCEF seeks nominations for ‘You’ve Made a Difference’ program

Batesville, In. — The Batesville Community Education Foundation (BCEF) is sponsoring a “You’ve Made a Difference” spring campaign to honor Batesville Community School Corporation employees, according to BCEF executive director Anne Wilson. As the end of the school year approaches, BCEF wants to recognize those individuals who are having a positive impact on the lives of Batesville Community School Corporation students.

For a minimum donation of $10, any BCSC employee – past or present – can be thanked for a job well done. The deadline is Friday, April 27 in order to have a sign with the employee’s name placed outside the school in early May during National Teacher Appreciation Week.

“We have this campaign twice a year to give community members a chance to show their appreciation to those who help educate our students,” Wilson said. “It has quickly become one of our most popular programs, with each campaign honoring more staff members than the one before. It’s a simple but meaningful way to thank our educators and staff.”

The Batesville Community Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established to provide additional funding for innovative learning opportunities that go beyond the basics in academics, athletics, and the arts in the Batesville public schools, enhancing the educational environment for all students.
