Here is some “good” professional baseball news. Congratulations to Batesville’s Bryan Hoeing who was promoted yesterday to Triple-A Jacksonville in the Miami Marlins organization.
His promotion came on the heels of another great outing Sunday for Pensacola where he struck out eight over seven shutout innings with two hits and one walk allowed. Hoeing’s 0.35 ERA is currently the best in Minor League Baseball for any pitcher with 25 or more innings pitched.
