The Batesville Wrestling team fell to South Dearborn on Thursday night 72-46. Even though the score was lopsided, the Bulldogs won the majority of the contested matches and only lost due to giving up seven forfeits to the Knights. The Bulldogs got varsity wins from Carson Weiler, Chucky Kline, Huston Cook, Isaac Enneking, Gavin Britch, Max Meyer, Ajon Herbert, and Ryan Ollier. The Bulldogs also got wins from Tristan Blitz, Wes Meyer, Paul Brewer, and two wins from Cruz Gribben in the exhibition round. The Bulldogs wrestle next against Milan Middle on Monday.
