Some Batesville Intermediate students had a chance to meet Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck as part of a new program in Indiana schools aimed at creating healthy habits.
Batesville was just a handful of schools in the state that participated in the Change The Play program, sponsored by Riley Hospital for Children and IU Health.
The eight-week health and wellness program was implemented in select schools for students age five to 14.
Twenty lucky students from Batesville Intermediate were randomly chosen to go to the Indianapolis Colts Complex on Friday, to participate in athletic activities and also meet some gridiron stars.
In addition to Luck, students also met Colts punter Pat McAfee and other team members.
The Batesville students were along with 500 students from other Indiana schools that participated in the inaugural event.
