Batesville, In. — Batesville High School principal Andy Allen says Cody Perdue and Arno Betts have been named Commended Students in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program. Both will receive a special letter from the school and the National Merit Corporation.
Cody is the son of Daniel and Tricia Perdue and Arno is the son of Bill and George Ann Betts.
The two Batesville students are among 34,000 students nationwide to receive the honor. They are in the top 50,000 scores of students who took the 2016 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
