(Batesville, IN) – Batesville Fire and Rescue says testing on warning sirens is complete, and all of the devices are functioning properly.
The computer system that controls the outdoor warning sirens was recently replaced.
Testing was conducted on Tuesday to ensure all sirens are functioning properly.
Fire officials say during testing, you may hear brief siren activations, which are part of the process and are not cause for alarm.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding,” the Batesville Fire Department wrote in a statement.
