BATESVILLE, Ind. — The following students were recognized at Monday evening’s Batesville School Board meeting for being academic all-state students.
Coach Chris Deal presented a certificate to the following students for Wrestling:
- Michael Deal, son of Chris and Wendy Deal
In Girls Basketball, Coach Darrick Cox presented certificates to the following:
- Julia Hunter, daughter of Tim and Trish Hunter (not pictured)
- Sylvia Phillips, daughter of Bruce and Susan Phillips
In Swimming, Coach TJ Greene presented certificates to the following:
- Hannah Cox, daughter of David and Julie Cox
- Emily Gutzwiller, daughter of Lawrence and Elizabeth Gutzwiller
- Mary Poltrack, daughter of Andrew and Kelly Poltrack
- Sarah Poltrack, daughter of Andrew and Kelly Poltrack
- Spencer Johnson, son of Terry and Patricia Johnson
- Drake Main, son of Kip and Cara Main
- Elliot Main, son of Kip and Cara Main
The school board also recognized Nathan Batta for being a Regional Academic All-State.
