(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Community School Board this week awarded the bid for the construction of the industrial technology center addition to the high school.
Maxwell Construction Company was awarded the contract after submitting the winning bid of $3,242,550.
The 9,100-square-foot addition will house new instructional spaces: a tech lab, assembly lab, training room, and an expanded agriculture lab.
A separate entrance to the north will be available for corporate community partners to use and collaborate with staff and students.
The project is expected to be completed later this year.
