Batesville Police Department presents Bike Safety Day on Saturday

BATESVILLE, IN — Bike Safety Day will be presented by the Batesville Police Department on Saturday at 10 am at Liberty Park.

The event is free and open to the community and will feature instructional presentations on bicycle maintenance, safety tips, and laws by Assistant Chief Blake Roope, plus bike enthusiast Gary Lunsford and others.

Bike Safety Day was a longtime late spring-early summer staple of the Batesville community and is being brought back after it was paused for several years.

Saturday’s event will be held at the Margaret Mary Health Shelter behind Liberty Field.
