Batesville native deploys to Kuwait

Batesville, In. — Batesville native Benjamin Eisert has been deployed to serve in Kuwait with the U.S. Army Reserve.

Eisert is a 1998 graduate of Batesville High School, a 2001 graduate from the University of Northwestern Ohio’s High Performance Technician program, a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College in 2013 & 2015 with degrees in industrial technology and automotive technology and has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Lawrenceburg and Batesville campuses. He is employed full-time with the city of Batesville and volunteers with the Morris and Batesville Fire Department. His wife is a professor of nursing at the Ivy Tech Community College Lawrenceburg Campus.
