Batesville, In. — A Franklin, Indiana resident was injured in a motorcycle crash near Batesville Saturday.
A report from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department says Donald Beasley, 58, was northbound on State Road 229 near Joe Road just before noon when he failed to negotiate a curve and drove down an embankment. Beasley was pinned under the bike after it came to rest in a soy bean field. He was not wearing a helmet.
Beasley was flown to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment. His condition is not known.
