The BMS 7th grade volleyball team fell to Jennings County 20-25, 18-25. Maci Smith led with 9 service points. Kiersten Luers had 7 points. Carly Blanton chipped in 3 points. Breauna Broshears added 1 point plus had many digs in the back row. Miki Gutzwilller and Maci Smith each had 3 kills.
The BMS 8th Grade Lady Bulldog Volleyball team played their final home game of the season vs. a talented Jennings County team. The team fell in the first set in a close one 22-25. Missed serves proved to be too costly. In set 2, the team got off to a GREAT start building an 8-1 lead, but was unable to hold on for the win, falling 20-25. Abby Miller continued her strong service connecting on 11 of her 12 serves earning 9 points including 2 aces.
Jersey Trenkamp, Ellie Walke, and Maggie Jelinek led the team’s offensive attack with 2 kills each. Abby Miller had several exciting digs and on-target passes to keep the team close. The teams will close out the regular season on the road vs. Connersville on Thursday. The SEI Tourney begins next week with the first round at Milan.
