Batesville Middle School golf improves to 4-0 with win over St. Mary’s and Greensburg

The Batesville Middle school golf team traveled to North Branch Tuesday evening for a night of personal bests on the golf course. The Bulldogs brought their season record to 4-0 with a team score of 160 over St. Mary’s, who shot 211 and Greensburg, who carded a team score of 186.

Match medalist Ian Hixson fired an even par 35 for his new personal best score. Isaac Weber tied his low score with a two-over par 37. Brody Gibson shot a personal best with a 41, including an exciting albatross by chipping in for a 2 on a par five. Stella Maple rounded out the team score by shooting her personal best with a 47. Grace Saner finished with a 53.

The Bulldogs are back in action at North Branch this Saturday to play in the St. Mary’s Invitational.
