Batesville Middle School Cross Country

The Bulldogs traveled to scenic Muscatatuck Park to race against the Jennings County Panthers on Thursday evening.  Ava Wade got the night started by leading the girls to a victory as the meet champion.  Besides Ava, the following girls earned ribbons by finishing in the top fifteen: Maycee Holtkamp 3rd, Elia Wade 4th, Jayla Bedel 5th, Hilary Ziegler 7th, Rosie Gilland 8th, Caitlin Raver 9th, Nya Moon 11th, Audrey Dieckmann 12th, Bhuvi Ranka 14th, and Aubrey Weberding 15th.  The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Panthers with a score of 20 to 57.

Levi Essick was once again the fastest boy for Batesville finishing second in the boy’s race.  Following Levi and earning ribbons were Cael Luhman in 5th, Hank Bohman in 10th, Wyatt Essick in 13th, and Abe Trossman in 14th.  Unfortunately, the Bulldogs fell short to the Panthers losing 37 to 22.
