The 7th Grade Batesville Middle School boy’s basketball team traveled to Versailles, where they would be named champions at the South Ripley Tournament. In the first game of the 4 team tournament, Batesville would face the South Ripley Raiders. The Bulldogs got out to an early lead and would advance to the championship by a score of 34 – 28. leading the way for the Bulldogs was Hank Bohman with 9, Isiah Martin (8), Lane Higham (7), RJ Schuerman (6), Deacon Fledderman (2), and Jax Negovetich with 2. In the Championship the Bulldogs would face Waldron and would go on to win 54 – 34. Leading score for the bulldogs was Martin with 12, Evan Ibold (9), Bohman with (9), Ryder Shields (7), Fledderman (4), Higham (4), Taylor Trenton, Schuerman, Collin Vogelsang, and Beckett Jones all with 2 points.
