Batesville, In.—A September routine traffic stop led to a October arrest for a Batesville man.
Major Brad Wessel from the Batesville Police Department says on September 22 officers stopped Jonathan Salyer, 50, and paraphernalia and marijuana was found after canine Jinx alerted officers.
After police released Salyer a search warrant was requested and received, then executed at his home when he was not there. During the search police found marijuana, paraphernalia, methamphetamine and controlled substances.
Salyer was located and arrested on October 5 and taken to the Ripley County Jail. Salyer has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a controlled substance.
