Lake County, FL — A Batesville man is facing charges in Florida after he allegedly got into a fight after being asked to leave a bar where several customers said he put his hands on women.
Police in Lake County say 56-year-old Erik William Hanson was at a bar when a man asked him to leave due to customer complaints.
After he was escorted outside, Hanson allegedly punched the man in the stomach.
Police say the manager told them the man pushed Hanson back, and the two began wrestling and rolling around on the ground.
The bar manager also said she told Hanson to leave several times but he refused.
Police say Hanson appeared to be intoxicated, was unsteady on his feet, and exhibited slurred speech.
Hanson is charged with two counts of battery and trespassing.
