Batesville JV baseball dominant in win over Shelbyville

On Tuesday, Batesville junior varsity baseball hosted Shelbyville and coasted to an easy 16-3 victory over the Golden Bears.

Batesville had their biggest inning in the fourth, tallying eight runs. The offensive firepower by the Bulldogs was led by Josh Borgman, Jaiden Kuria, Brayden Maple, Paxton Harris, Dane Dudley, and Carson Schneider, who each had RBI in the inning.

Batesville racked up nine hits in the game. Drake and Kuria each racked up multiple hits for Batesville.

Schneider pitched the Bulldogs to victory. Schneider lasted four innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out four. Drake threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Kohen Myers was on the hill for Shelbyville Junior Varsity Golden Bears. The right-hander lasted four innings, allowing nine hits and 16 runs while striking out four.
