On Thursday night, the Batesville High School girls varsity tennis team suffered a 4-1 loss to Lawrenceburg.
Batesville’s lone win of the varsity match came at No. 2 doubles. Isabelle Westerefeld and Molly Meer defeated Jenna May and Kelsey Offutt 7-5 and 6-3.
In junior varsity play, the doubles teams of Ella Wolters/Grace Walter and Karsyn Watson/Lucy Abplanalp were winners.
