The Batesville Boys’ freshman basketball team hit the road Monday night to take on Franklin County and kicked off their season in style with a solid 43-34 win.
Jackson Peetz led the charge for the Bulldogs, racking up 14 points, while Gage Lancaster added 10 and Levi Hunt contributed 9 to the scoreboard.
With a 1-0 record to start the season, Batesville will return home to host South Dearborn on December 3rd at 6 p.m.
