BATESVILLE, IN — A number of area fire departments are looking for volunteers and – in some cases – professionals to fill their ranks.
One of those agencies looking for full-time firefighter/EMTs or Paramedics is Batesville Fire and EMS.
“We’re taking applications now until the 1st of April. We’re looking for anybody who’s an able-bodied firefighter who would like to make a career out of it,” said Fire Chief Todd Schutte. “Come see us and pick up an application and we’ll go from there.”
In addition to the paper applications that are available at the fire station on Catherine Street, Schutte says applications can also be found on the City of Batesville’s website, batesvilleindiana.us.
