Batesville Dominates in 3-Way Dual Meet

The Batesville Bulldogs wrestling team traveled to Jennings County on Thursday for a 3-way dual meet, also featuring Paoli. The Bulldogs showcased their strength, coming out on top in both matchups.

Batesville began the evening with a decisive 48-24 win over Paoli. The team earned several key victories, including pins from Alex Krekeler (190) and Max Amberger (285). Forfeits were also collected by Carson Weiler (106), Aj Dance (120), Damien Dance (165), and Andrew Jones (215). Additional wins came from Adam Brewer (132), who recorded a 16-1 Tech Fall, Mason Dance (175), who earned an 18-5 major decision, and Liam Stutz (150), who won 12-7.

In their second dual against the host Jennings County, the Bulldogs cruised to a 53-27 victory. Pins came from AJ Dance, Adam Brewer, Jacob Starost (138), Liam Stutz, Damien Dance, Alex Krekeler, and Max Amberger. Kaden Lamping (126) received a forfeit, while Carson Weiler won by a 17-1 Tech Fall.

With these two wins, Batesville improves their season record to 11-10. The Bulldogs will look to build on their momentum as they travel to Milan on Saturday for a 6-way meet to close out the regular season.
