Batesville Community Development, Main Street directors attend OCRA event

(Batesville, IN) – The City of Batesville’s Community Development Director Tricia Miller, and Batesville Main Street Executive Director Amy Pretzer recently participated in the OCRA in YOUR REGION event, organized by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA).

The event, held on August 15 in Nashville, Indiana, brought together community leaders and members from various parts of Indiana to discuss regional achievements and potential collaboration opportunities with OCRA.

During the event, participants engaged in focused discussions, including:

· A retrospective of OCRA’s regional accomplishments.

· An exploration of OCRA programs and their potential benefits for local communities.

· Networking opportunities for community leaders to exchange insights.

A significant aspect of the event was a panel discussion featuring experienced community leaders sharing effective collaboration practices that have contributed to the growth of their respective municipalities.
