In a game heard on WRBI Saturday evening, the Batesville boys fell to EIAC conference foe Connersville on the road 
51-41. Connersville led just 12-10 after the first quarter but steadily built their lead as the game went along, ultimately leading to the aforementioned final score.
With the loss, Batesville’s record falls to 9-5 on the season and 2-2 in the EIAC. Cole Pride was the leading scorer for the Bulldogs with 13 points.
