Batesville Boil Advisory Lifted

(Batesville, IN) – The Boil Water Advisory issued in Batesville for Oakmont Place in Hillendale Commons has been lifted.

The advisory was sent out Friday due to a water main break.

(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Water Utility has issued a Boil Advisory for Oakmont Place in Hillindale Commons.

The advisory was put in place late Friday morning due to a water main break, and is in effect until further notice.

A boil advisory is a precautionary measure issued by the water utility to alert customers when there is a potential for compromised water quality.

It is recommended that you boil all water used in the preparation of food and beverages for consumption for two minutes.

Water used for laundry, showering, shaving, and watering grass or plants is safe to use without boiling.
