Batesville Area Skatepark Advocacy receives three more large grants

Batesville, IN — The Batesville Area Skatepark Advocacy group has received three more large grants – $4,000 from Duke Energy; $25,000 from the Rising Sun Regional Foundation, and a $50,000 match from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority through the Patronicity Crowdfunding campaign.

That campaign ends tomorrow and has already raised more than $52,000. The original goal was $50,000.

Plans call for the 10,000 square foot skatepark to be built in the Plex at the corner of Pohlman Avenue and Delaware Road.
