Batesville 7th Grade Boys Basketball

The 7th grade Boys Batesville Middle school won their home contest against Jac-Cen-Del Eagles by a score of 41-24. The Bulldogs got off to a slow start offensively, by allowing the Eagles to Score the first 6 points. A timeout was called and the Bulldogs refocused and scored the next 7 points to end the 1st quarter with a lead of 7-6. The Bulldogs locked down on the defensive and started to find their groove, and took the lead at half time 15-10. The Second half was much better as the Bulldogs found their shot, as Levi Hunt hit 4, 3-point shots in the 3rd quarter to ice the game for the Bulldogs. Leading in scoring for the Dogs was Hunt with 17, Carson Meyer with 8, Winston Garrett with 5, Gage Lancaster and Camden Kaiser with 3, Eli Denni and Jackson Peetz with 2, and Liam Wanger with 1. 

The Bulldogs are now 3-2 on season and travel to South Decatur on Thursday, November 15th.
